Social Media Accounts

Ice T, real name Nicole Marrow, married model Coco Austin in January 2002 and they welcomed daughter Chanel in 2015. The couple has clapped back at the parenting police multiple times since then, defending everything from breastfeeding to stroller usage.

The West Coast rap legend recently took to Twitter to share his scathing views on fake social media accounts and said those who create them should reevaluate their lives.

1. TikTok

The TikTok platform is a bit like a world unto itself. It’s a vertical video app with filters, music snippets, and more to help users create, edit, and share videos of 15 seconds or less.

Many of the most popular videos on TikTok are dance challenges based on popular songs. They often start with a creator coming up with a choreography to a specific song and then challenging their followers to participate in the challenge. Then, those videos spread, and eventually the whole song becomes popular on TikTok.

Other types of videos are infotainment—videos that provide snippets of advice, tips, or information in a fun and engaging way. So-called influencers on the platform, who often have a large audience, offer video tutorials in beauty, fashion, cooking, and other topics.

It’s also possible to create meme-style videos on TikTok. Using trending hashtags can boost views and engagement. For example, the #TumbleweedChallenge, which has been endorsed by celebrities including Troye Sivan, generated more than 39 million views.

2. Instagram

Instagram is a photo- and video-sharing platform that reads like a Silicon Valley fairy tale. It took only eight weeks for software engineers to develop the app before it launched on Apple’s mobile operating system in 2010. Within two years, it had been acquired by Facebook (META).

Users connect with each other through a news feed of photos and videos posted by the people they follow. At the top right of the screen is an inbox where direct messages can be sent. The menu bar along the bottom contains the options Home, Search/Discovery, Stories, Reels and Your Profile.

Depending on the settings of an individual’s account, photos and videos can be made private or public. If they’re set to public, the pictures can be shared to other platforms connected to a user’s Instagram account – such as Twitter and Tumblr. The app also includes filters that give the images a distinctive look. Instagram posts that include a location receive 79% more engagement than those without.

3. Twitter

Twitter is a text-based social media platform that allows users to post short messages known as Tweets. It was one of the first major social networks to allow real-time updates, and it was also the first to integrate photo and video sharing. Twitter currently has a maximum character limit of 280 characters, and it is renowned for its news feed.

Ice T’s wife Coco Austin has been a victim of social media trolls after she shared steamy photos of herself on Instagram in honor of the Fourth of July. The 44-year-old model left very little to the imagination in the pictures as she posed in a white G-string thong and red crop top. She completed the look with a pair of sunglasses, white heels, and two American flags.

Ice T recently took to Twitter to slam internet trolls. The West Coast rapper said that anyone who spends the time to create a fake social media account should reevaluate their lives.

4. Facebook

Facebook has become one of the most popular social networks, and it offers many ways to share content and communicate with friends and followers. It also offers advertisers a way to target specific audiences. For example, a toothpaste manufacturer can promote its product to people who have expressed interest in that topic.

Rapper Ice T is a big presence online, whether cracking a joke or announcing some major news. But this week, the west coast rap legend made a scathing PSA for all those who pollute social media. In the scathing post, Ice T said those who create fake accounts on social media should re-evaluate their lives.

The rapper and Law & Order star is the father to 7-year-old daughter Chanel, who has her own massive Instagram following. Ice T has defended Coco Austin from social media critics before. The couple has been married since 2002, and they welcomed Chanel in 2015. The pair is also the stars of the reality television show Ice Loves Coco.
